Windmill Restaurant @ Bandar Baru Klang, Klang

This was for the birthday celebration of my brother. He always opts for Western cuisine instead of other cuisines. We were lazy to travel so far to The Ship, so I suggested Windmill Restaurant because it's much nearer. It might not as popular as The Ship, but in Klang area, this is considered a quite old and famous Western restaurant. It has been established since 1999. It's very easy to be spotted and recognized by its windmill outside the restaurant.

Windmill Restaurant is considered a good choice for semi-high class steak house. The price is below average compared to most of the steak house. 

 Not only the exterior is designed with a windmill, we can also see a small windmill inside.

To create a romantic environment, they use only very dim lighting and candle light. For its namesake, candlelight dinner sure to have candle on table. The interior is quite spacious, so couples can have more privacy when having their romantic candle light dinner.

Complimentary - Bun and Butter

Every diner is served with a small bun and butter. (The bun is served warm)

Windmill Chicken RM25.40

I ordered a Windmill Chicken because I wondered what is actually a Windmill Chicken. When the food is served only I realized actually I ordered before but just simply forgot. It's a deep fried chicken chop served with sweet and sour sauce. The sauce is somehow taste similar to the sweet and sour crab that we usually eat (I think describing in such way is easier for y'all to understand).

Chicken Maryland RM25.40

Usually I will go for grilled chicken chop instead of deep fried chicken chop, but at here I will always go for deep fried chicken chop because they do really well on this. Chicken Maryland might look just simple but in term of crispiness and tenderness, it's really good. This is my quite-often-ordered food here. I like to eat it with the mayo, simple yet nice.

Black Pepper Chicken Chop RM25.40

Just very ordinary Black Pepper Chicken Chop.

Chambertin Red Wine Chicken Chop RM27.50

Fish Steak (Kurau) RM29.60

Kurau in Chinese is called 马友鱼/ 午鱼 is considered as a semi-high priced fish. The thick slice of Kurau is seasoned with simple seasoning and grilled to perfection. The fish is very fresh to eat without any sauce because the fish itself has a natural sweet taste (it's served with tartar sauce though).

Aglio Olio Seafood Spaghetti RM22.20

Just a normal Aglio Olio Spaghetti, nothing much to shout about.

Overall, the environment is good and recommended for couples for candlelight dinner. It's suitable for family dinner for a quite dinner also. Besides that, there is also Chinese words on the menu, so the elder also can order without problem. Most of the food here are quite big in portion, with generous amount of side dishes. Pricewise, it's actually quite cheap for the price in steakhouse.
