Stalkers Cafe @ Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara

Stalkers Cafe @ Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara

Stalkers Cafe is a newly opened cafe in Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara. It's a retro concept cafe which the cafe is decorated with many old time stuffs.
It's decorated with old time stuffs like old radios, photos, toys and decorated with retro theme.

It's so true. We should really take some time to sit down to relax and have a cup of coffee in this busy lifestyle.

The interior space is quite packed. All the tables are placed too close to each other.

Customers can choose to enjoy their food on a normal table or sofa. It might be only suitable to have drinks though since the table is very small. There is only a few larger tables to place food. We have to wait for the other group of customers to leave and shift to the table as we ordered quite many food and that small wooden table wouldn't be enough to place all the food.

The seats outside is made from junk oil barrel.

The ordering style is ordering at counter and wait to be served.

They do not serve a large variety of food as this is a cafe but not a restaurant. They do serve a few choices of main dishes, pastas, rice, sandwiches, burgers, soup, salad and snacks though.
Grilled Chicken Chop RM16
It's served with fries, coleslaw and black pepper sauce. I'm not sure is there any other choice of sauces, but we were not given any option when ordering. The coleslaw is a little too tasteless, not salty enough.
Grilled Lamb Chop RM18
It's served with fries, coleslaw and black pepper sauce too. I think the staff is lack of experience as she never asked me what is my preferred rareness. I tried to order medium, but I am told that only have medium rare and medium well. I usually go for medium rare for steak and medium for lamb chop as I want the lamb chop to be cooked longer to burn away the high content of fat of it. Anyway I ordered medium well at last. The lamb does not have a strong lamb smell and the taste is ok, but the ratio of fat is too much. :(

Salmon Carbonara RM21
The salmon is overcooked, the texture is a little bit dry. The sauce is too little also, perhaps adding in more sauce will taste better. And also lack of some saltiness.

Caspers Party Sized Burger RM18
One set comes with 2 mini sized burger, fries and coleslaw too. For its namesake "party sized", the size of the burger must be small and convenient for party. The burger is around half of a palm size. The burger has lettuce, tomato, sauteed onion and cheese. The texture of the patty is good, not too dry.

The Audrey's Gnocchi RM20
I think most of the people do not know what actually Gnocchi is. I only heard about this food before, but never really try it. This is also only my first time trying Gnocchi. It's a pasta-like food, but thicker in size, and the texture is softer. It itself is just tasteless. For the texture, I would describe it likes 算盘子, a kind of Hakka food. The Audrey's Gnocchi is cooked in a creamy butter sauce, with curry leaves and beef bacon added in. The taste is quite close to Chinese butter-fried dishes. The portion is quite little, but anyway you might feel cloyed with the greasy creamy butter if the portion is too big.

Hot Mint Chocolate RM11
I am more to a chocolate drinks lover than a coffee lover. I like the rich taste of chocolate drinks. The taste is nice, because I have tasted many chocolate drinks are like Milo taste but this one isn't. If the mint is stronger then it would be better, but this is just my own preference.
